Barry (Baz) Boland
Founder & Master Glazier
Glazing apprenticeship with O'Brien Glass
1986 to 1990
Northern beaches after hours glazier for O'Brien Glass 1989 to 1992
I surfed all day, worked all night and saved money for my two passions, skiing & travelling
Moved to Jindabyne in October 1997
Started backcountry skiing in 1998 which deepened my desire to spend time in a mountain environment
Started Alpine Windows Glass and Screens in 2005, a company that encourages our team to follow their passions.
I've been fortunate to have more 'best days of my life" than most and super lucky to have shared those unbelievable days with my wife, Sam, an intelligent, supportive person with plenty of grit and an eye for adventure.

Samantha Pearce
Not So Silent Partner
In a previous life, Sam worked for NSW Health in strategic planning & project management. A Clinical Neuropsychologist by training she loves the team environment at Alpine Windows Glass and Screens and learning all about the business. Sam is an avid trail runner, backcountry skier and lover of dogs of any kind.


Jeremy (Moosh)
Jeremy (Moosh) started off as an apprentice glazier with Alpine Windows Glass and Screens and has stayed with the company ever since. He is a true local and family man. Mooshy attended school in Jindabyne and now his two young girls go to the same school. He is a big rugby fan and it turns out has quite a talent for skippering a yacht.


John Murray
(aka Pommy John)
John is a hard-working, family man who moved to the area to fuel his passion for skiing. He was first a client of Alpine Windows Glass & Screens but wanted to join the team after seeing the high level of professionalism and attention to detail that our business provided. John moves between driving, labouring and offering assistance to anyone in the team who needs it.

Lachlan (Lachy) McDonald
Lachy who is the youngest member of our team is an apprentice glazier . He is a real gun, soaks up new information like a sponge and a big fan of the practical joke. Never let Lachy tell you he has a present for you or you might be in for a surprise! Lachy has a true affinity with nature. Disclaimer: no animals were harmed during the photographing of this fish.

Carlo Petrou (aka Costa)
Carlo is a committed snowboarder who spent several years as a lifty in Thredbo before he decided to get a real job! He started his apprenticeship with Alpine Windows Glass and Screens in 2020. Carlo has a passion for music and in his spare time is the resident DJ at Thredbo. Carlo is a chilled individual who loves gardening (hence the nickname Costa Georgiadis)
